Who is your programming for?
We believe in the power of bold action through grounded connection. Our name reflects our purpose: the courage to face today’s challenges head-on and the resolve to cultivate a Thriving Future for people and the planet.
Our programming is for everyone who will make that Thriving Future a reality: farmers, educators, community leaders, and families who want to shift their worldviews and inspire the next generation.

Where does your programming take place?
We offer programs for local, national, and international individuals and communities. Our focus is on place-based learning so you can bring new-found knowledge and tools and apply them where you are.
Our online courses are offered asynchronously, so you can learn at your pace, in your place. Our on-site intensives are offered at different host locations. Find an upcoming one near you! link to intensives

What is the time commitment for your programs?
Our online courses vary in time commitments. With both online learning and hands-on activities, you can move through our courses at your own pace.
Learners normally complete Grounding Down, our introductory course, in 6-8 hours. link to GD
Our Eco-Literacy Micro-credential is about 60 hours of learning material, and learners often complete it in 5 months.
Our full Eco-Literacy Course is 65-70 hours of learning material, depending on your pathway and pacing. It often takes learners 5-8 months to complete the course. link to LW or programs
Our On-Site Intensives are 5 days packed with learning, reflection, practice, and community building. link to intensives
Do I have to be enrolled in your online program to attend an on-site intensive?
No! Our new model for our in-person offerings allows you to join us at any point in your learning journey. Whether you want to kick off your transformation with a unique getaway, join us during your learning to ground the coursework or solidify your experience with community building, you’re invited. Do you teach how to farm?
For clarity’s sake, we are not a course in how to farm. We exist to provide you with a transformative learning experience and practical skills so you have a tool to strengthen community where you live. We do encourage you to find your place in a Thriving Future, and if that’s as a farmer, we hope our programming can support you in success!
